Steve Sadow announces his new mega-website of Latin American Jewish Art and Literature

This site brings together:

“Latin American Jewish Art” 1,100 works by 96 artists from 11 countries.

“A Voice among the Multitudes” Latin American Jewish Poetry in Spanish by 13 poets with translations into English by Stephen A. Sadow and J. Kates

“Contemporary Latin American Jewish Literature” An extensive anthology of poetry and prose in the original Spanish, Portuguese and English

“Identity and Diversity: Artists’ Books” The catalogue of 14 artisanal artists’ books. Each book contains one poem, an original work of art done in reaction to the poem and a translation of the poem into English.

“Interviews with Argentine Jewish Writers and Artists” Interviews by Stephen A. Sadow with Ana María Shua, Marcelo Birmajer, Silvia Plager, Ricardo Feierstein, Susana Grimberg, Horacio Vodovotz, Perla Bajder, Paula Varsavsky, Irene Jaievsky, Miryam Gover de Nasatsky, Susana Beibe and Nora Seilicovich.

Colección Moshé Nes El — Universidad de Tel Aviv 

AMILAT se complace en anunciar la apertura de la Colección Nes-El, formada por materiales donados por nuestro compañero Moshé Nes-El (z”l) a la Universidad de Tel Aviv. La Colección Nes-El contiene libros y documentos sobre temas de judaísmo latinoamericano: su historia, el movimiento sionista, el movimiento Beitar, las comunidades judías en Chile y países vecinos. La Colección Nes-El está integrada en la Colección Borah de la Biblioteca Central Elías Sourasky. Se halla abierta al público los martes y miércoles de 10:00 a 16:00, y los jueves de 10:0 a 14:00.
